Its dual high-efficiency brushless thrusters deliver a top speed of 4 knots, while a modular payload bay can accommodate up to 7 kilograms of sensors, including multi-beam sonar and high-definition cameras. Equipped with integrated inertial navigation and an open-architecture control system, Wraith supports rapid mission reconfiguration in under 20 minutes, marking a 25% reduction in deployment time compared to its predecessor. VideoRay engineers report that initial sea trials demonstrated station-keeping precision within 0.5 meters and endurance exceeding eight hours on a single battery charge, reinforcing AVAV’s commitment to expeditionary-ready platforms for defense and commercial subsea missions.
