Aflac Japan, Aflac U.S. name new presidents effective Jan. 1, 2027
AFL•Aflac Japan Deputy President Shinsuke Morimoto and Aflac U.S. Deputy President Frederic J. Simard will become presidents on Jan. 1, 2027. Masatoshi Koide will become Aflac Japan chairman, and Charles D. Lake II will become Aflac Japan executive advisor and Aflac International chairman.
1. Leadership changes
Morimoto will become Aflac Japan president and representative director, while Simard will become Aflac U.S. president, overseeing strategy, distribution and operations. Koide will move from Aflac Japan president to chairman and representative director, overseeing board decisions and business operations. Lake will represent Aflac externally on international affairs.
