AgEagle Aerial Systems sold nine eBee VISION ISR kits to the U.S. Army National Training Center at Fort Irwin, following a two-unit sale earlier to the Joint Mission Readiness Center. These portable, 4.1-pound, hand-launched drones will roll off EagleNXT’s new Allen, Texas production line.

1. Contract Details

AgEagle Aerial Systems secured an order for nine eBee VISION ISR kits by the U.S. Army National Training Center at Fort Irwin, expanding on a prior two-unit sale to the Joint Mission Readiness Center. The procurement highlights the platform’s NDAA-compliant status and growing military adoption.

2. Drone Specifications

The eBee VISION weighs 4.1 pounds, features a 46.4-inch wingspan and enables single-operator setup in under three minutes. It delivers high-resolution real-time video, modular payload options, extended endurance and beyond-visual-line-of-sight capability for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

3. Production Ramp-Up

Units for the Fort Irwin order will be among the first manufactured at EagleNXT’s new Allen, Texas facility. This expansion increases production capacity and shortens lead times to meet rising defense and commercial demand for full-stack drone solutions.

4. Training Impact

Integration at the National Training Center will enhance opposing-force realism by simulating adversary reconnaissance and supporting counter-UAS drills. The deployment aligns with the Army’s emphasis on preparing units for contested multi-domain operations using small unmanned systems.
