Agnico Eagle Mines boosted its gold mineral reserves by 2.1% to 55.4 million ounces at year-end 2025, driven by reserve replacement from operating mines and the initial declaration at the Marban deposit. The company earmarked $565 million to $635 million for exploration and project expenses in 2026.

1. Reserve Growth in 2025

Agnico Eagle Mines ended 2025 with 55.4 million ounces of gold mineral reserves, a 2.1% year-over-year increase. This gain was largely driven by replacement of reserves at existing mines and the first-time inclusion of mineral reserves at the Marban deposit in Malartic.

2. 2026 Exploration Budget

The company has allocated between $565 million and $635 million for exploration and project development in 2026, targeting further resource conversion and reserve replacement across its portfolio.
