Agomab reports positive topline data from STENOVA extension of ontunisertib in Crohn’s disease
AGMB•Agomab reported positive topline results from the STENOVA long-term extension in fibrostenosing Crohn’s disease, with disease control generally maintained, few procedure-related interventions and no reported surgeries. The data support starting a global Phase 2b trial in about 320 patients in the coming months.
1. Extension results
Agomab Therapeutics reported positive topline results from the long-term extension of its mid-stage ontunisertib study in fibrostenosing Crohn’s disease. Patients generally maintained disease control over extended treatment, with few procedure-related interventions and no reported surgeries; safety and tolerability remained favorable.
2. Next study
Agomab said the data support starting the global NOV-ERA Phase 2b trial in the coming months. The study will test multiple dose levels against placebo in about 320 patients. Detailed results have not yet been presented, with a conference presentation planned for a future scientific meeting.
