AIG names Turab Hussain chief risk officer, effective Oct. 12, 2026
AIG•AIG named Turab Hussain executive vice president and chief risk officer, effective Oct. 12, 2026. He succeeds Christopher Schaper, who plans to retire at year-end.
1. Leadership changes
Hussain has been AIG’s global chief actuary since 2023 and joined the company in 2021 as chief risk officer for general insurance. Before AIG, he served as chief risk and actuarial officer at PartnerRe and chief insurance risk officer at The Hartford.
2. Actuary appointment
Graham Fulcher will become global chief actuary on Oct. 12, 2026. He joined AIG in 2022 as chief actuary, international commercial insurance.
