MAR•Aimbridge Hospitality was named future operator of Portman’s 700-key Cincinnati Downtown Marriott, which closed on $540 million in financing; Aimbridge will participate as an equity partner.
1. Cincinnati hotel project
Aimbridge Hospitality took over management of the 456-key Westin Cincinnati under an expanded partnership with Portman and was named future operator of Portman’s 700-key Cincinnati Downtown Marriott, now under construction. The project broke ground July 21, 2026, and is slated to include 60,000 square feet of meeting space. It closed on $540 million in financing, with Aimbridge participating as an equity partner.
