Ainos signs VELDONA license deal with BioPhoenix worth up to $10 million
AIMD•Ainos signed a VELDONA license deal with BioPhoenix valued at up to $10 million, granting exclusive worldwide rights for Sjögren's disease and thrombocytopenia. BioPhoenix will fund and conduct assigned clinical and regulatory work.
1. License framework
BioPhoenix secured exclusive worldwide rights to develop, manufacture and commercialize VELDONA for Sjögren's disease and thrombocytopenia. It will fund and run assigned clinical and regulatory work.
2. Potential payments
The framework includes an upfront license fee, potential payments for up to 15 additional indications and a one-time fee on BioPhoenix’s first sublicense. Ainos will receive 25% of applicable net sublicensing revenue, separate from license fees and any product supply revenue.
