Akamai signs Singapore solar VPPA with EDP APAC covering up to 17,000 MWh a year
AKAM•Akamai signed a virtual power purchase agreement with EDP APAC covering electricity from 27 operational rooftop solar sites in Singapore, with capacity to generate up to 17,000 MWh annually.
1. Solar agreement
The portfolio can generate up to 17,000 MWh of electricity a year, equivalent to a 13 MWp system, and targets about 5,850 metric tons of CO2e emissions abatement annually. All installations are operational.
