Akanda wins Nasdaq extension to regain compliance with $2.5 million stockholders’ equity rule
AKAN•Nasdaq grants compliance extension
Akanda received a Nasdaq deficiency letter for failing to meet the $2.5 million minimum stockholders’ equity requirement under Listing Rule 5550(b)(1).
Nasdaq granted an extension through Dec. 13, 2026 to regain compliance, following a plan submitted July 31, 2026, supplemented Aug. 12.
Delisting risk remains if threshold is not restored
Failure to restore the equity threshold by the deadline could trigger a Nasdaq delisting of the company’s securities.
