Axalta named Stephan B. Tanda, Denise C. Johnson and Robert Schuchna as non-executive directors for the planned AkzoNobel combination.
- Tanda is CEO of AptarGroup, retiring September 1, 2026; previously served a decade on Royal DSM’s executive managing board.
- Johnson is a Caterpillar group president leading Resource Industries; previously held senior roles at General Motors, including president and managing director in Brazil.
- Schuchna is a partner at Cevian Capital; sits on AkzoNobel’s supervisory board, and also serves on Rexel’s board.
