Key additions include Beecher’s Mac & Cheese, Banana Crêpes and the Mediterranean-inspired Med In The Clouds, catering to diverse tastes and dietary needs.

2. Culinary Partnerships and Sourcing

Alaska has partnered with Seattle’s Beecher’s to perfect an onboard version of its award-winning Mac & Cheese and expanded its plant-forward offerings with Med In The Clouds. This marks the airline’s continued emphasis on regional sourcing and premium inflight experiences to differentiate its service.

3. Hawaiian Airlines First Class Refresh

Hawaiian Airlines will debut a refreshed domestic First Class menu developed by Chef Robynne Maii and inbound meals by Chef Wade Ueoka on U.S.-Hawaii routes. The lineup features island-inspired dishes such as smoked mozzarella frittata, basil Caesar with ginger scallion fried rice, and braised miso beef.

4. Potential Financial and Customer Impact

By enhancing its pre-order program and elevating dining options with high-profile chef collaborations, Alaska Air Group aims to boost ancillary revenue and strengthen customer loyalty. Early adoption rates and guest satisfaction metrics will be key indicators of the initiative’s success.
