Alaska Airlines on April 28 launched daily seasonal nonstop flights between Seattle and Rome through October 23, marking its first European route. The service uses a 787-9 with 34 business class Suites and adds the first daily nonstop passenger cargo link to Rome, boosting its cargo network to 109 destinations.

On April 28, Alaska Airlines inaugurated daily nonstop flights between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Rome Fiumicino Airport, operating through October 23. This marks the carrier’s first direct link between the Pacific Northwest and the Eternal City and establishes Seattle as a new European gateway.
2. Aircraft Configuration and Passenger Experience
The new route is operated on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner featuring 34 international business class Suites. The Suites experience includes multi-course dining, custom amenity kits, Filson bedding and an exclusive check-in lane for Suites and Atmos Titanium members.
