Albany International unit wins $21.2 million US defense manufacturing contract
AIN•Albany International won a $21.2 million U.S. government contract over 30 months to expand carbon-carbon thermal protection manufacturing for hypersonic vehicle systems and solid rocket motors.
1. Contract award
AEC Advanced Programs received the award through U.S. Army Contracting Command–Rock Island under an IBAS contract using a Cornerstone OTA vehicle. The work will expand scalable, vertically integrated carbon-carbon thermal protection manufacturing capacity for hypersonic vehicle systems and support solid rocket motor thermal protection.
