Algorhythm names Andrew Thompson CEO in executive shake-up
RIME•Algorhythm named Azure Energy co-founder Andrew Thompson CEO, effective Sept. 15, 2026, replacing Gary Atkinson. The company also appointed Ryan Smith COO and promoted Leticia Raele to chief accounting officer and interim CFO, effective the same date.
1. Leadership changes
Thompson, who had served as managing partner of Azure Energy since August 2025, previously held CFO roles at South Georgia Tissue and United Tissue. Algorhythm created a COO role and appointed Azure Energy development vice president Ryan Smith to it, effective Sept. 15, 2026.
2. Finance appointment
Controller Leticia Raele was promoted to chief accounting officer and interim CFO, effective Sept. 15, 2026. She previously held accounting leadership roles at FlexShopper and worked at PwC Argentina.
