Mastercard partners with Cloudflare to boost visibility into AI-driven payment activity
MA•Mastercard and Cloudflare will develop privacy-preserving environments to help identify AI-driven payment activity. Mastercard also partnered with Skyfire to add agent identity verification to Agent Pay and is testing an AI-initiation probability score in the U.S.
1. AI payment initiatives
Mastercard partnered with Cloudflare to combine web-network signals with payment intelligence, helping banks and merchants assess agent-initiated transactions in privacy-preserving environments. The company also teamed with Skyfire to integrate “Know Your Agent” identity verification into Agent Pay, as it expands the program with trust and intelligence services, including a U.S. test of an AI-initiation probability score.
