Alibaba Launches AI Coding Platform at 7.9/39.9 Yuan and Zhenwu 810E Chip
Alibaba priced its AI coding platform at 7.9 yuan first month (40 yuan thereafter) and 39.9 yuan first month (200 yuan thereafter), providing access to Qwen 3.5, Zhipu, Moonshot and MiniMax models. It also introduced the Zhenwu 810E AI chip, deployed in ten-thousand-card clusters and adopted by over 400 customers.
1. Low-Cost AI Coding Platform Launch
Alibaba Cloud rolled out a subscription-based AI coding tool supporting Qwen 3.5 and models from Zhipu AI, Moonshot AI and MiniMax. The lite plan costs 7.9 yuan for the first month and 40 yuan thereafter, while the pro tier starts at 39.9 yuan then 200 yuan, with users able to switch freely between models.
2. In-House Zhenwu 810E AI Chip Debut
T-Head, Alibaba’s chip division, unveiled the Zhenwu 810E ASIC for AI training and inference, delivering performance comparable to Nvidia’s H20 processor in China. The chip is deployed in clusters of over ten thousand cards and used by more than 400 enterprise customers, including State Grid, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and XPeng, to accelerate large language model workloads.
