The 0-to-1 Startup Track accounts for 65% of entries, underscoring surging demand for Alibaba’s AI-powered commerce solutions.

The CoCreate Pitch competition received over 15,000 applications from 132 countries, marking one of the largest global entrepreneurship events on Alibaba.com. Participation grew across regions and demographics, signaling broad interest in the platform’s innovation ecosystem.
2. Solopreneur Rise and AI Integration
Solopreneurs constituted 71% of all applicants this year, up from 40% in the previous edition, as single founders leverage Accio Work to handle tasks from industrial design to marketing. Over 80% of participants across Gen Z, millennials and Gen X report using AI tools as essential to their startup process.
3. Track Composition and Platform Efficiency
Applications in the 0-to-1 Startup Track, designed for users of Accio Work, account for 65% of all submissions, highlighting strong uptake of Alibaba’s AI-powered services. The competition form was streamlined to six fields to enable instant AI-driven analysis of pitches and reduce barriers for new founders.
4. Future Outlook and Regional Finals
The competition’s regional finals are scheduled to begin in Los Angeles this September and conclude in London in November. Alibaba foresees a shift toward agent-to-agent commerce as AI bots negotiate directly with factories and logistics providers on behalf of entrepreneurs.
