Alignment Healthcare expands Medicare Advantage footprint to 55 counties for 2027
ALHC•Alignment Healthcare will expand into 10 counties for 2027, increasing its service area to 55 counties and offering 77 plans across a footprint covering about 9.5 million Medicare-eligible seniors.
1. Expansion details
The expansion adds counties in Arizona, California, Nevada, North Carolina and Texas, including the San Antonio and Charlotte areas, California’s Central Valley and Nye County, Nevada. The company is adding Hoag in Orange County and Astrana Health across four Southern California counties to its provider network, and plans to introduce culturally focused options. Coverage begins Jan. 1, 2027, following annual enrollment from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, 2026.
