Alkermes says alixorexton sustains wakefulness gains in nine-month narcolepsy extension study interim analysis

Interim long-term extension results
Alkermes reported interim long-term extension results showing alixorexton sustained clinically meaningful improvements in wakefulness and sleepiness in narcolepsy.
Week 24 outcomes in narcolepsy type 1 and type 2
At week 24 of the extension, mean MWT sleep latency reached about 29 minutes in narcolepsy type 1; mean ESS was 7.5.
Narcolepsy type 2 participants showed mean MWT sleep latency of about 18 minutes; mean ESS was 8.9 at week 24.
