Allied Gold Targets 200,000 Ounces Annually, Extends Bonikro Mine Life to 2036
AAUC•Allied Gold's integrated production plan extends Bonikro mine life to 2036 and supports over 120,000 ounces output, contributing to a CDI Complex target of 200,000 ounces per year for ten years. Pre-commissioning at Kurmuk is underway for mid-2026 first gold, as Sadiola optimizes operations for 50,000-ounce Q2 production.
1. Arrangement Progress
Allied Gold and Zijin Gold remain committed to fulfilling all conditions required for their Arrangement, with an extended outside date now set for July 29, 2026. Work continues in parallel on operational and growth initiatives to maintain value creation across Allied Gold’s portfolio while the merger process advances.
2. CDI Complex Mine Life and Production Growth
An updated production plan integrating the Oumé zone confirms Bonikro’s role as a major contributor and extends its mine life to 2036 based on 2025 Proven and Probable Reserves. This supports average output above 120,000 ounces annually, feeding into a consolidated CDI Complex target of 200,000 ounces per year over at least ten years, with Agbaou and Ditula also undergoing resource and reserve expansion.
3. Kurmuk Pre-Commissioning Status
The Kurmuk Gold Project in Ethiopia is on schedule and budget, with pre-commissioning activities now underway. First gold remains expected in mid-2026, and ongoing exploration has identified extensions to known deposits and new mineralized zones that should enhance the asset’s value.
4. Sadiola Operations and Optimization
Operations at Sadiola Mine in Mali continue as planned, targeting approximately 50,000 ounces of gold production in Q2. Processing optimization, expansion and metallurgical recovery programs are progressing, while exploration efforts pursue new oxide feed sources and depth extensions to boost future mineral inventories.
