Ally Financial names Sean Leary head of auto consumer servicing operations

Ally Financial named Sean Leary head of Consumer Servicing Operations for its auto finance business, reporting to Dealer Financial Services President Doug Timmerman.

Leary previously served as chief financial planning and investor relations officer, leading corporate FP&A, line-of-business finance, procurement, balance sheet, and capital management.

Investor Relations leadership shifts to Dan Ignacio, executive director of Investor Relations and Corporate FP&A, reporting to CFO Russ Hutchinson.

Ignacio has spent more than 11 years at Ally within the CFO group, including prior Investor Relations roles and positions in auto finance and corporate FP&A.

Leary is expected to transition into the new role over the next few weeks.
