Almonty Shifts Headquarters to Montana as Gentung Tungsten Prepares 2026 Restart

ALMALM

Almonty Industries moved its headquarters from Toronto to Dillon, Montana after a US$90 million July 2025 IPO and a US$129 million December follow-on, acquiring the Gentung Tungsten Project set to restart production in 2026. It aligns with U.S. critical mineral supply chains as Sangdong Phase 1 ends and Gentung drives non-Chinese tungsten output.

1. Headquarters Relocation to Dillon, Montana

Almonty Industries has officially relocated its corporate headquarters from Toronto to Dillon, Montana. This move follows its US$90 million IPO in July 2025 and a US$129 million follow-on financing in December 2025, and positions the company closer to U.S. government agencies, defense contractors, and industrial partners integral to critical mineral initiatives.

2. Gentung Tungsten Project Acquisition and Restart Plans

The company’s acquisition of the Gentung Tungsten Project in Montana accompanies the headquarters move, with production restart targeted for 2026. Gentung adds to Almonty’s global operations alongside the completed Phase 1 at Sangdong, expanding its capacity to supply tungsten outside of China.

3. Supply Chain and Market Positioning

By relocating to the U.S. and integrating Gentung into its asset portfolio, Almonty strengthens its alignment with critical mineral supply chain security. Completion of Sangdong Phase 1 and the upcoming Gentung output position the company to serve growing demand for non-Chinese tungsten in defense, technology, and industrial markets.
