1. Proposed reverse split
Alset shareholders authorized a 1-for-5 reverse stock split, with the board able to set its effective date by Oct. 5, 2027. Every five common shares would convert into one, while the number of authorized common shares would remain unchanged. No fractional shares would be issued; holders would receive cash based on the prior trading day’s Nasdaq closing price.
