Alvotech signs licensing, commercialization deal with Lotus Pharma for Imfinzi, Hemlibra biosimilars in US, Asia
ALVO•ALVO•ALVO•ALVO•Alvotech said it struck a licensing and commercialization deal with Lotus Pharmaceutical for two U.S. biosimilar candidates, AVT34 and AVT87.
Under the semi-exclusive U.S. structure, Alvotech will commercialize alongside Lotus, while Lotus will sell through its U.S. unit Alvogen.
Lotus received exclusive commercialization rights in selected Asian markets, while Alvotech will supply product and lead development.
Alvotech said the agreement is worth up to $150 million in upfront and milestone payments, plus ongoing supply revenue.
