América Móvil publishes Q3 2026 results presentation
AMX•América Móvil added 3.1 million postpaid subscribers in the third quarter of 2026, while mobile service revenue rose 6.3% and operating profit increased 13.9%. Leverage excluding leases fell to 1.21 times trailing EBITDA after leases, from 1.52 times at year-end 2025.
1. Subscriber and revenue growth
América Móvil added 3.1 million postpaid subscribers in the third quarter, including 743,000 in Brazil. Mobile service revenue rose 6.3%, while fixed-line service revenue growth accelerated to 3.7% from 2.7% at constant exchange rates. Postpaid revenue grew 7.5% and prepaid revenue increased 4.3% at constant exchange rates.
2. Profit and leverage
Operating profit rose 13.9%, outpacing EBITDA growth as depreciation and amortization charges increased 3.1%. Leverage excluding leases fell to 1.21 times trailing EBITDA after leases from 1.52 times at year-end 2025, as cash flow funded debt reduction.
