Amazon said it has invested more than $12 billion in Connecticut since 2010, expanding its facilities and workforce. The company employs more than 15,000 people in the state, and its operations support more than 10,000 indirect jobs across construction, logistics and professional services.
2. Facilities and programs
Amazon's Connecticut footprint includes six fulfillment and sortation centers, 11 delivery stations and 13 Whole Foods Market stores. Through Career Choice partnerships with three Connecticut institutions, more than 2,100 employees have upskilled since 2019. The company also said it has delivered more than 900,000 meals for nonprofits and its education programs have reached more than 20,000 students statewide.
