Amazon introduced Quick, a new desktop AI agent built to perform tasks such as drafting emails, updating documents and sending alerts. Quick integrates across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack and Zoom, proactively prompts users on pending items and executes actions after requesting data access permissions.

Amazon expanded its AI-powered customer support platform, Amazon Connect, launching four specialized agentic services: Connect Decisions for supply chain tasks, Connect Talent for hiring processes, Connect Customer AI for support automation and Connect Health for healthcare workflows. Each service is designed to handle end-to-end tasks with built-in security prompting users for data access.

The dual rollout signifies Amazon’s strategic push into enterprise software, positioning Quick against emerging desktop agents and challenging incumbents like Microsoft and Salesforce. By integrating AI into core business workflows and emphasizing security, Amazon aims to capture a greater share of the growing AI-driven enterprise market.
