The proposed store will stock groceries, household essentials and general merchandise, alongside a limited on-site warehouse area and dedicated pickup bays for delivery drivers. The Orland Park Plan Commission granted its approval on January 7, and the full village board is scheduled to vote on the development on January 19. If greenlit, the store will join a retail corridor anchored by Target, Costco and Trader Joe’s at the intersection of two major highways, representing Amazon’s most ambitious brick-and-mortar experiment to date.
