AMC Entertainment rises on record weekend revenue

AMC said more than 10.2 million moviegoers attended AMC Theatres in the U.S. and ODEON Cinemas globally from Wednesday through Sunday.
The company said admissions and F&B revenue reached record weekend highs, driven by the opening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, while The Odyssey continued its strong run.
Shares rise after record weekend revenue
Shares of U.S. theater chain AMC Entertainment AMC.N rose 4.7% after the company said it recorded the highest weekend revenue in its 106-year history.
