AMD and TCS to Deploy Helios AI Platform with 200 MW Capacity
AMD and TCS will build a Helios rack-scale AI platform in India with Instinct MI455X GPUs, EPYC 'Venice' CPUs, Pensando Vulcano NICs and ROCm software. HyperVault AI Data Center will deliver up to 200 MW of AI-ready data centers nationwide, accelerating deployments alongside hyperscalers and enterprises.
1. Partnership Details
AMD and Tata Consultancy Services have agreed to jointly develop rack-scale AI infrastructure in India through the HyperVault AI Data Center subsidiary, combining AMD’s open Helios platform expertise with TCS’s enterprise IT services to modernize AI deployments at scale.
2. Helios Architecture
The Helios platform integrates AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs, next-generation EPYC ‘Venice’ CPUs, Pensando Vulcano network interface cards and the open ROCm software environment to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient compute modules optimized for AI training and inference.
3. Deployment Plan and Capacity
The initiative targets up to 200 megawatts of AI-ready data center capacity, collaborating with hyperscale providers and global enterprises to accelerate new data center rollouts across India and support national AI initiatives and sovereign AI factories.
