AMD gains on plans to boost chip supply

CEO Lisa Su said AMD plans to substantially increase chip supply in 2027 as it races to meet booming demand from AI. She said AMD is working closely with memory chipmakers to secure sufficient supplies, ahead of a visit to South Korea later Tuesday.
2. Analyst ratings
At least two brokerages, including Citigroup, raised their price targets on AMD. Forty-seven of 56 brokerages rated the stock “buy” or higher, while nine rated it “hold”; the median price target was $616.
