American Eagle Gold Extends South Zone 750m East, Hits 618m at 0.77% CuEq
Hole NAK25-80 intersected 618 meters averaging 0.77% CuEq from surface, confirming a high-grade core at the South Zone. Step-out drilling (NAK25-73, -75, -79) traced a connected mineralized corridor 750 meters east and 500 meters south, expanding the South Zone footprint for further growth.
1. Outstanding NAK25-80 Intercept
Hole NAK25-80 returned 618 meters averaging 0.77% CuEq from surface, including a high-grade interval of 101 meters at 0.95% CuEq. The hole confirmed continuity of the South Zone high-grade core and extended mineralization to significant depth within the Babine porphyry stock.
2. South Zone Eastern Extension
Step-out holes NAK25-73, NAK25-75, and NAK25-79 traced a connected mineralized corridor for approximately 750 meters east of the South Zone/Main Zone boundary and 500 meters south. NAK25-73 alone intersected 1,033 meters at 0.25% CuEq from surface, demonstrating a broad low-to-moderate grade envelope linking the high-grade core to new eastern targets.
3. Implications for Project Growth
These results materially expand the South Zone footprint and reinforce the concept of a large, coherent mineralized system extending from surface to depth. The expanded corridor and high-grade core provide a clear pathway for resource growth and de-risking near-term development at the NAK Project.
