American Resources names Datuk Wira Mark Ling CEO of newly formed American Resources Indo Pacific
AREC•American Resources formed American Resources Indo Pacific and named Datuk Wira Mark Ling CEO. The unit plans to start its Indo-Pacific expansion with a Malaysia rare earth supply chain, using ReElement processing technology and SAGINT’s Digital Warehouse Receipt system for traceability.
1. Malaysia expansion plans
Ling will lead the new unit’s Indo-Pacific expansion, starting with a Malaysia rare earth supply chain spanning separation, refining, traceability and downstream use. ReElement’s proprietary processing technology is slated for the separation and refining footprint, while SAGINT’s Digital Warehouse Receipt system will support traceability with one independently checkable record per lot.
2. Ling’s background
Ling previously spent more than 15 years as a president and executive director in the power sector, leading Malaysia’s Edra Power Holdings.
