American Resources' ReElement Secures $200M Equity Facility for U.S. Refining Expansion

ARECAREC

American Resources-backed ReElement Technologies secured a $200 million equity facility from Texas Enterprise Partners to accelerate expansion of U.S. rare earth refining capacity. The funding will bolster ReElement’s processing output and strengthen American Resources' supply chain positioning in critical minerals, potentially enhancing future revenue streams.

1. Portfolio Company ReElement Secures $200M Equity Facility

American Resources Corp’s portfolio company, ReElement Technologies Corporation, has entered into a $200 million equity facility with Texas Enterprise Partners (TEP). The facility will provide incremental capital to accelerate construction of ReElement’s first rare earth separation plant in East Palestine, Ohio, which is slated to begin operations in late 2026. The funding covers equipment procurement, engineering studies and site preparation, with TEP committing up to $50 million in equity tranches per year over a four-year period. This financing aligns with ReElement’s goal to process 5,000 metric tons of monazite ore annually and produce 500 metric tons of high-purity rare earth oxides, reducing U.S. reliance on foreign suppliers by an estimated 20%.

2. AREC Announces January 2026 Conference Schedule

American Resources Corp and its wholly owned subsidiary, ReElement Technologies, have published their January 2026 events calendar, highlighting appearances at key tradeshows and investor forums. ReElement will exhibit at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 5 to 9, showcasing its proprietary rare earth separation technology to potential offtake partners and downstream manufacturers. The schedule also includes presentations at the Critical Minerals Summit on January 15 in Washington, D.C., and the Industrial Innovation Forum on January 22 in Chicago. Management plans to host one-on-one meetings with over 30 institutional investors during this period to discuss project timelines, offtake agreements and near-term production milestones.
