Quarterly earnings and revenue rise
American States Water posted Q2 GAAP diluted EPS of $1.09, up 25.3% on higher utility earnings.
GAAP net income climbed to $43.27 million, while operating income rose to $63.97 million.
Segment EPS contributions improved across water ($0.91), electric ($0.04) and contracted services ($0.16).
Operating revenue increased to $181.29 million, driven by gains in water revenue to $131.05 million.
