Iowa American Water plans to invest more than $52 million in 2026 toward infrastructure upgrades aimed at enhancing system reliability and affordability for its Iowa service areas.
3. Customer Assistance and Charitable Milestones
The Project Help to Others program will mark over 30 years of customer assistance with recent enhancements to support qualifying households, while the American Water Charitable Foundation observes its 15th anniversary after contributing more than $25 million in community grants, including $197,000 to 59 Iowa organizations in 2025.
4. Research & Development Program Anniversary
American Water's Research & Development program turns 45 this year, continuing to advance scientific and technological innovations to support the long-term safety and reliability of drinking water systems.
