AMG sells minority stake in Vesterra to management for about $12 million
AMG•Vesterra’s partners bought AMG’s minority stake for about $12 million, completing AMG’s exit from the business formerly known as Comvest; proceeds from the Vesterra and 2025 Comvest Credit Partners sales totaled about $294 million.
1. Management takes full ownership
Vesterra Capital Partners’ partners bought out AMG’s minority stake, shifting the private equity firm to full management ownership. The deal closed Sept. 30, 2026, with about $12 million in cash consideration for the equity interest and the sale of fund investments.
2. AMG completes its exit
The transaction completes AMG’s exit from the business formerly known as Comvest, following the 2025 sale of Comvest Credit Partners. Proceeds from the two transactions totaled about $294 million, including about $282 million from the 2025 sale.
