1. CFO Transition at Alphabet

Incumbent Kirsten Spears will retire from the CFO role but remain as a nine-month advisor to ensure a smooth leadership handover and continuity in financial reporting and governance.
2. OpenAI IPO Valuation Adjustment
OpenAI has trimmed its IPO valuation target from approximately $1.3 trillion or higher to the low hundreds of billions. The funding round includes participation from Amazon, SoftBank, Nvidia and Microsoft, and the move reflects market sentiment on AI competition with Google's Gemini, Anthropic and other enterprise offerings.
