Andersons Q3 results beat estimates on renewables strength, agribusiness improvement
ANDE•Andersons reported Q3 adjusted EPS of $1.38, adjusted net income of $47.20 million and adjusted EBITDA of $101.40 million, beating analyst estimates. The company expects market dislocations and the eastern grain harvest to create Q4 and 2027 opportunities.
1. Quarterly results
Andersons reported Q3 sales and merchandising revenues of $2.83 billion. Adjusted EPS was $1.38, compared with an analyst estimate of $1.13; adjusted net income was $47.20 million versus $38.71 million expected, and adjusted EBITDA was $101.40 million versus $92.18 million expected.
2. Segment drivers and outlook
The company said efficient plant operations, higher co-product values, improved ethanol and corn-oil yields, and $27 million in 45Z tax credits drove Renewables results. Agribusiness improved due to merchandising activities, higher commodity prices and greater market volatility. Andersons expects Clymers’ Indiana ethanol expansion to add 30 million gallons in mid-2027 and anticipates a full-year adjusted effective tax rate of 14% to 18%.
