Anheuser-Busch Commits $600 Million for US Brewery Upgrades and 15 Training Centers

Anheuser-Busch will invest $600 million in U.S. manufacturing across 2025 and 2026 to upgrade brewery facilities, enhance production and packaging capabilities, and open 15 technical skills training centers nationwide. The plan also includes partnerships to upskill 90% of its workforce and expand veteran hiring through credential programs.

1. $600 Million Investment in U.S. Operations

Anheuser-Busch will channel $600 million into its U.S. operations over 2025 and 2026, targeting brewery campus upgrades, advanced packaging lines and production systems to support leading brands like Michelob ULTRA and Bud Light. These enhancements aim to modernize facilities, strengthen supply chains and boost overall manufacturing capacity.

2. Launch of 15 Technical Training Centers

The company will establish 15 new technical skills training centers at its facilities nationwide, offering curricula from digital tools and mechanical systems to management fundamentals. Anheuser-Busch aims to upskill over 90% of its manufacturing workforce within five years, building on the 2,700 employees already trained since 2022.

3. Expanded Veteran Career Programs

Anheuser-Busch is expanding its partnership with the Heroes MAKE America initiative by integrating more than 20 manufacturing readiness credentials and the SmartResume platform into its hiring process. Nearly 25% of the over 600 industry-wide SmartResumes have originated through its site, enhancing visibility of military skills for veteran recruitment.
