Anheuser-Busch Commits Over $20M to Missouri Breweries, Expands ULTRA Capacity

This investment is part of its $600 million US Brewing Futures initiative across 2025-26 and establishes a technical skills training center to upskill employees.

Anheuser-Busch is investing over $20 million in its St. Louis brewery and Arnold, Missouri can manufacturing plant, focusing on brewery and packaging equipment upgrades to increase production capacity for Michelob ULTRA and Busch Light. This capital outlay will modernize key operations and drive output of the company's top-selling brands.
2. Brewing Futures Initiative
This $20 million investment is part of the Brewing Futures initiative, under which Anheuser-Busch will deploy $600 million across its U.S. operations in 2025 and 2026. The program aims to strengthen manufacturing infrastructure, support local economic growth and create sustained job opportunities in brewery communities.
3. Technical Skills Training Center
As part of the Missouri investment, the company will open a technical skills training center within the St. Louis Brewery, expanding its Technical Excellence Center network. The facility will deliver mechanical, electrical, digital and operational training, with a goal to upskill over 90% of the manufacturing workforce within five years.
4. Community and Legacy Impact
To commemorate the investment, Anheuser-Busch will relocate its historic 'A & Eagle' animated sign from Newark to its St. Louis campus, symbolizing 165 years of regional heritage. The move underscores the company's commitment to community investment, manufacturing excellence and honoring its local legacy.
