Annica deepens Travia tie-up to upgrade tyre pyrolysis oil into sustainable fuels

Annica expanded its tyre-to-fuel collaboration with Travia to secure feedstock supply, lock in offtake, and develop higher-value sustainable fuels.
Travia to supply or procure end-of-life tyres covering up to 70% of capacity for Annica unit Cahya Suria Energy’s Tanjung Malim plant.
Plant capacity and production timeline
The facility is designed for 40,000 metric tons a year, with commercial production targeted for Q4 2026, pending retrofit completion and approvals.
Of take commitments and oil-upgrading project
Travia to buy or arrange purchases of up to 70% of tyre pyrolysis oil output, subject to meeting agreed specifications.
A three-year R&D project will upgrade pyrolysis oil into sustainable fuels; Travia will provide an oil-upgrading system and fund related costs.
