Antero Midstream generated $297 million in Q4 revenue, marking a 3.3% year-over-year increase and surpassing analyst projections by 1.1%. EPS declined to $0.11 from $0.23 a year earlier, falling short of estimates by 53.8%, reflecting pressure on profitability despite revenue growth.
2. Operational Volume Metrics
The midstream operator recorded average daily volumes of 3,435 mmcfd in low pressure gathering, 3,193 mmcfd in high pressure gathering, and 3,424 mmcfd in compression, each topping forecasts. Fresh water delivery averaged 93,000 barrels per day, underperforming estimates, while other fluid handling reached 58,000 barrels per day, above expectations.
3. Segment Revenue Trends and Stock Movement
Gathering and processing revenue increased 7.1% year over year to $241.3 million, while water handling revenue edged up 3.2% to $64.1 million and amortization of customer relationships remained flat at -$17.7 million. Shares have rallied 12.4% over the past month, outpacing the S&P 500 composite’s 0.3% decline.
