1. Anthropic Series H and Google Cloud Partnership
Anthropic raised $65 billion in a Series H round, pushing its post-money valuation to $965 billion and nearly tripling its February Series G mark of $380 billion. The funding, backed by investors including Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks and Sequoia Capital, embeds $15 billion of hyperscaler commitments, with Google securing five gigawatts of next-generation TPU capacity alongside existing chip partners.
2. Waymo’s Texas Robotaxi Fleet Leads Tesla
Under new Texas regulations requiring registration of autonomous fleets, Waymo submitted 577 vehicles versus Tesla’s 42, a more than 13-fold advantage. Waymo’s paid network now approaches 4,000 vehicles nationwide and operates commercially in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, underscoring Alphabet’s lead in robotaxi deployment.
