Anthropic reported its business run-rate revenue in India doubled over the four months since October 2025, highlighting strong adoption of its Claude coding product. The CEO noted the technical intensity of Claude usage is particularly high among professional workloads in India. Anthropic signed tie-ups with Air India to deploy Claude Code for custom software development and with Cognizant to modernize legacy systems. Additional partnerships span legal, education, healthcare and agriculture startups, driving broader AI integration. Last week Anthropic raised $30 billion, pushing its valuation to $380 billion and reinforcing backing from Amazon and Alphabet. This infusion supports further R&D and product rollout in enterprise AI. Following the opening of its Bengaluru office, India has become Anthropic’s largest market after the United States, underscoring rapid regional uptake. The expansion marks a key milestone in Anthropic’s global growth strategy.
