APA•APA forecasts third-quarter 2026 average realized oil prices of $87.50 per barrel in the US and $98.50 internationally. It also estimated natural gas prices, other factors affecting results, and share repurchases.
1. Third-quarter estimates
APA estimated third-quarter realized natural gas prices of $1.45 per Mcf in the US and $5.00 per Mcf internationally, Egypt tax barrels of 36 MBoe/d, and dry hole costs of $25 million. It estimated a $190 million pretax net gain on oil and gas purchases and sales, including an $8 million realized commodity-derivatives gain; weighted-average basic shares of 348 million; and 10 million shares repurchased at an average price of $42.78.
