Apimeds adds co-CEO Sungjoon Chae to board

Apimeds Pharmaceuticals US amended a settlement to reset board control ahead of a preferred stock conversion.

The interim board will be set at four directors: Elona Kogan, Carol O'Donnell, Dr. Bennett Weintraub and Sungjoon Chae.

Removal restrictions were also added: none of the four can be removed without written consent from Dr. Vin Menon and FreeT-related parties.

After the interim board period, the board will expand to seven seats: four independents nominated by MindWave, two nominated by Menon and one held by Chae.

Sungjoon Chae joined the board effective Sept. 10, 2026. He has served as co-CEO since May 4, 2026.
