Apollo Management Launches First UK LTAF Targeting Private Investment-Grade Credit

APOAPO

Apollo Management will launch the CG Apollo Diversified Credit LTAF, its first UK long-term asset fund, giving defined contribution pensions access to multi-sector private credit. Authorized by the FCA and managed by Carne Global, the fund targets private investment-grade and large-cap corporate lending to enhance diversification and returns.

1. New UK LTAF Launch

Apollo Global Management is launching the CG Apollo Global Diversified Credit LTAF, marking its first long-term asset fund in the UK. The fund serves as a sub-fund within Apollo’s Private Markets LTAF framework and aims to provide DC pension schemes with access to multi-sector private credit.

2. Fund Structure and Management

Carne Global Fund Managers (U.K.) Limited will act as the Authorised Corporate Director and Alternative Investment Fund Manager for both the umbrella and the sub-fund. The strategy focuses on private investment-grade and large-cap corporate lending across sectors to diversify portfolios.

3. Strategic Rationale

This launch builds on Apollo’s previous U.S. and European retirement solutions, addressing pension savings shortfalls with private market strategies. The fund is designed to improve diversification, downside protection and risk-adjusted returns for modern defined contribution plans.

4. Market and Analyst Response

Shares of Apollo have been trading below both the 20-day and 100-day simple moving averages with a neutral RSI and bearish MACD signal. Analysts maintain a buy consensus but have lowered price targets, reflecting cautious optimism on growth and valuation.
