1. NVIDIA Partnership for AI-Driven eVTOL
In January 2026 at CES, Archer Aviation announced that it will integrate NVIDIA IGX Thor into its next-generation eVTOL aircraft, delivering real-time, high-reliability computing for safety-critical functions. Archer has collaborated with NVIDIA since early 2025 and plans to install the platform at Hawthorne Airport as a test bed and operational hub for its planned Los Angeles air taxi network, focusing on pilot safety, predictive awareness, and autonomy-ready flight systems.
2. Serbia Deal Expands International Footprint
On January 21, 2026, Archer secured an agreement with the Government of the Republic of Serbia, naming the company as its preferred eVTOL partner and granting Serbia the option to purchase up to 25 Midnight aircraft.
